Capri’s smooth, matte finish is ideal for any interior floor or wall application. This glazed porcelain tile is styled after honed marble, seen here paired with a multi-toned mosaic for contrast and a complimenting grout colour (#44 Pale Umber). (5 available colours in 13x13, 2 colours {Light or Dark mix} mosaics in 2x2, 3 colours in 8x10)
Natural slate tiles in mostly darker charcoal, wine and green tones. Variations in pattern and colour create a warm, rustic appeal. Shown with a non-intrusive grout colour (#19 Pearl Grey), this rough-surfaced stone looks stunning when used on fireplaces, patios, entryways and kitchen backsplashes. (4 available colours in 12x12, 4x4 & 2x4)
This honed travertine-like ceramic wall tile is complimented by a hand-made mosaic border. Left-over cut pieces of tile can come in handy for patient do-it-yourselfers. A slightly darker grout colour (#05 Chamois) accentuates the natural stone pattern within the tiles, and nicely contrasts the pebble-shapes in the border. (5 colours available in 13x13, 2 colours {Light or Dark mix} mosaics in 2x2, 3 colours in 10x13)
Full-bodied porcelain mosaic with a contrasting grout colour (#09 Grey), a 2x2 corner piece and 12x12 field tiles to match. Plain, solid colours are easily accented with different shapes and sizes of the same. Commonly used on shower floors and pool decks, these small, simple pieces also work well as trim or inserts. (4 colours available in 2x2, 2 colours in bevelled 2x2, 2 colours in 1x1 hexagon)
This client wanted a “racing-flag” inspired garage floor. We achieved this with black and white 12”x12” tiles and halved them to a 6” floor moulding to match. The finished product is quite dramatic.
Measure and order carefully! Be sure you have enough, as dye-lots may change and certain special order tiles may not be returnable.
Vitreous – Tiles which will not absorb more than 3% moisture are referred to as vitreous. This variety is “frost-resistant”, not “frost-proof”.
